Unique - Science Thing
What have i learnt so far in science??
This week so far in science we had to make a flow chart or like learn how to make one.
Well as you can see up top is mine it was just a quick one to display.
Anyways we also had to right up our own scientific but i didn't put that in. well yeah reasons why we have to right our own is so we will be able to know how to make one...

Unique - Shakaia - area and perimeter animation slide...
Animation slide
This week Shakaia and I have been learning about area and perimeter.
In this slide we have shown you how we understand area and perimeter.
What i found challenging or difficult was the actual making of the video and the understandings of what we have to do. Meaning how much we have to duplicate the same slide and how much editing was made. Pretty much saying it was a pretty cool first experience.
So Area is a measure of how much space there is on a flat surface A= L x w - cm x cm = cm 2 Perimeter is the distance around the edge of the figure or shape this is just a short description of how we understand area and perimeter
Shottys
A = Area / P = Perimeter
L = Length / w = Width

Measurement video - Bloopers
This is one of our bloopers we made while trying to film us measuring our class room. What we had to show is us showing you how we measure our classroom. We didn't film a actual video because we kept mucking up. What we used was a tape measure.

Ihumatao - Unique Marsters
This term in social studies my class and i have been learning about ihumatao and what is happening to the land. During this time we have been given 3 focus questions:
Why do Maori not want to give the land to the government?
Why does the government want the land of Ihumatao?
why are protesters aiming to stop housing development?
At first i knew a little of what was going on at ihumatao because of social media. So here in this slide it shows what i know about ihumatao, there is some research int there to. Researching about ihumatao
wasn't that hard due to how big of a deal it is/was.
In the slide me and my partner have only answered two questions because there was only the two of us it took us quite a while to get but we did in the end.
ENJOY!!!

Maths - Probability
Today in maths we learned what and how to use a table in this we had to find out all the possible outcomes of two die and i have found out there is 36 using a table is very helpful and useful for your learning.

Tree Diagram- Unique
Today we have been learning how a tree diagram works. This tree diagram can also help us out while doing probability. By using a tree diagram this will be able to help how many possible outcomes there is.
As you can see there is 6 possible outcomes.
So you can either have
Pizza-Ice cream
Pizza-pancakes
F and C-Ice Cream

Kiwiana - My culture
This term in social studies my class and I went the treaty grounds in waitangi the reason why we went to the treaty grounds is to learn more about our culture and what kiwiana is.
While my class and I were up there we got the chances to play with electronics with different kinds of apps. In these apps we had to use them to create something to do with our culture (Maori) So me and my group did a marae we couldn't get the picture but the app we used was TINKER CAD. Ill insert a picture with a whole description on how it works.

Probability
So far i have learnt that probability can only go below the number 1.
Probability is going good so far i have learnt a lot from the past week we have being doing Probability.
There are many many words that goes with probability as you can see in my picture.
I will show you an example.
So i i have a die what is the probability of it landing on a 7.
Well we know that there is 6 sides to a die and only 6 possible answers
P (7) = 0 or it is impossible
Reasons being there is obviously 6 possible answers and it is impossible to get 7 unless you have a 7 sided die but this is not what we are talking about so the probability of rolling a 7 is 0 also impossible.

Probability 1
Probability
I have been learning about how probability works the vocabulary to it for etc Impossible, possible and certain. We have recently done a number line type of thing.
So far i know most of the vocab (words) to it. I sort of know the order from like impossible to possible and how that works with different words in between
Example
Whats the probability of a coin landing on heads 1/2 because there only two sides

Math:Decimals
Lately in maths i have been learning about decimals,
I have learned how to do different types of things to do with decimals. For example how to change decimals to fractions and fractions to decimals, We also had to multiply and divide the decimals by 10-100, we had to round the decimal to the nearest 1dp/tenth 2dp/hundredth and so on we had expand the decimal, find the value of a specific number, we had to draw a decimal its like doing fractions but decimals, for me to know how to multiply and divide we had to do some jumping like to times we had to make the decimal jump to the right and for division it had to jump to the left. we also learnt that this means (Nr) nearest to. Last but not least we got taught that Ascending is low to high and descending to high to low. I also knew how to order decimals
I found learning decimals is pretty challenging but fun at the same time it did take me quiet a long time to learn but i have had lots of fun doing it. How to do lots of things with decimals first class doing decimals i didn't know exactly what to do but then i have learnt from that. Like when Mr gave me a sheet to work on to know if we do know how to order decimals when the results came back i was shocked i thought i knew more.

My term 1 maths so far
My term 1 maths so far
- My progress in maths so far has been very well meaning i have improved and i have done well
- I like doing numbers for instance multiplication and division i also like to do shapes and all there properties
- I would like to do more measurement in maths so in the future i know how to measure and i don't need to struggle.
- I need to improve more in Integers why because i need to know what integers are first of all i did do integers last year but didn't really get it so i would like to improve more in it.
- I think i am doing great in maths like i am improving more and more everyday.
